You’ll enjoy a challenging, stimulating position as an RN in Heart and Vascular Progressive Care, working in a 15-bed unit with both general and intermediate level patients. Daily care involves comprehensive care from abdominal and thoracic aneurysm repairs to limb-saving lytic therapies. This opportunity allows you to be part of a highly engaged team, frequently learning new skills and incorporating evidence-based nursing practices into the unit culture. Your schedule includes a convenient 36-hour work week with day/night and weekend rotations. Holidays may need to be worked as necessary for patient care. There are requirements to meet: previous IMC/PCU/Step down experience is needed, with ICU experience valued. A minimum two years of acute care experience in last 3 years in a comparable size hospital is required. A WI nursing license or compact license from the resident state is needed, plus ACLS and BLS must be certified through the American Heart Association. Be in mind that you must have a permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Madison.
