Join us for an exciting 8-week Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical position at MUSC Health Charleston, a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital. Based in the beautiful city of Charleston, SC, your assignments will include a daytime shift, running from 07:00 to 19:30, working three times a week, totaling 36 hours weekly. Be part of a dynamic team, providing medical surgical services, where patient care ratios may vary depending on staffing. You may have the opportunity for weekend shifts, and occasional requirements to float within your scope to meet our facility needs. Preferred candidates should have at least 2 years of experience, a SC or Multi State/Compact RN license, and BLS certification. You will be charting on our EPIC system, and have the potential to accommodate a block schedule, subject to manager’s approval and unit’s needs. Our facility respects your right to time-off with all requests included at the time of submission. Note: You may be called off 1 shift per 2 weeks based on facility needs. The facility sports 820 staffed beds and in terms of attire, all our RNs are required to wear Either solid Royal Blue or White tops with Royal blue bottoms. Be aware, during the hurricane season running from June through November, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Our recognized Holidays include New Year’s, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Experience:

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of similar Med/Surg-RN experience to be considered.

Pay Package:

• $1,739.00 total gross weekly for 36 hours per week for 8 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,018.98 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $20.00
• Gap hours: $48.30
• Overtime hours: $64.25
