Embark on an exciting 13-week travel healthcare assignment at UW Health University Hospital, located in Madison, WI. The hospital is nationally recognized and ranked as Wisconsins #1 hospital, making this an incredible opportunity to gain experience in a top-notch facility. Perfect for an experienced RN specializing in Med/Surg Orthopedics, ready to work in a dynamic interdisciplinary team whilst systematically collecting and assessing data to provide therapeutic care. This evening/night position consists of 36 hours per week (3 – 12 hour shifts per week from 1900-0730) including every other weekend and some holidays. The following requirements apply: Orthopedic experience, familiarity with insulin drips, two years of acute care experience within last 3 years, the assignment completed in an Academic Level 1Trauma center or similar sized hospital. Certified and licensed RN in WI or have a compact license from permanent address state, American Heart Association BLS Certification. Note that candidates may need to float to other units or floors as the demand arises. UW Health University Hospital is a Magnet-designated facility, ensuring highest nursing standards and practices are upheld. Prior to start date traveler will be required to pass a UW Health Telemetry test, training will be provided. Please note, candidates must have a permanent address outside of a 50-mile radius of Madison to be eligible.

Experience:

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of similar Med/Surg-RN experience to be considered.

• $2,475.00 total gross weekly for 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,341.31 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $31.48
• Gap hours: $68.74
• Overtime hours: $80.80
