We are excited to present a wonderful opportunity for an OB RN specializing in Labor, Delivery, and Post Partum care at Down East Community Hospital in the charming town of Machias, ME. You’ll work in an engaging environment committed to patients’ health and wellbeing. The role involves providing holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients on the OB Unit. You’ll demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgement, and teaching skills to improve patient care quality. This involves independently performing general and unity-specific clinical skills, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all assigned patient care under the charge nurse’s supervision. The ideal candidate must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of one year of acute care experience. They’ll also possess effective communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong computer skills. Necessary certifications are a current BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, and STABLE. This role requires a degree of confidentiality and adherence to policies regarding confidentiality, sexual harassment, advanced directives, and ADA. Pay Package:

• $2,727.00 total gross weekly for 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,162.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $43.46
• Gap hours: $75.74
• Overtime hours: $86.32
