Embark on an exciting 13-week assignment as an ICU Professional at the prominent UMMS: University of Maryland Medical Center. This opportunity offers a dynamic 10H day shift in the heart of Baltimore, MD. This position requires at least 2-years of ICU experience and Level 1 experience in larger healthcare facilities. Although not compulsory, hyperbaric oxygen therapy experience would be a bonus! It’s important to note that you’ll be on-call every 4th weekend and one night a week, including every other holiday. You’ll be dealing with a range of patient diagnoses from necrotizing soft tissue infections, radiation cystitis, air gas embolism, carbon monoxide, and more, for patients of all ages. Familiarity with iv pumps, invasive monitoring, ventilators, and other special equipment is essential. While on duty, you’ll be required to wear light pink scrubs. There may also be a need for floating as required. Please be aware that an active MD/Compact license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be presented at submission. Please note, due to certain restrictions, applications are currently not being accepted from candidates within a 50-mile radius of the hospital. Lastly, it’s vital that you have had your COVID vaccination. Any medical declination must be signed and documented by a Physician.

Experience:

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of similar ICU/Critical Care-RN experience to be considered.

Pay Package:

• $2,254.00 total gross weekly for 40 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,453.87 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $20.00
• Overtime hours: $75.67
