Adventure awaits for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse in the charming city of La Plata, MD. UMMS: Charles Regional Medical Center is on the lookout for a dedicated RN for a 12H night shift. Get ready for a dynamic 13-week travel healthcare assignment where you will contribute and learn in a 120-bed hospital with a 41-bed ER. The ER set-up includes triage, fast track, psych holds with sitters, serving mainly adult patients. The adorable town of La Plata calls out to those who enjoy cultural experiences, relaxing locales, and peak living conditions. Expect a diversity of cases, from Behavioral Health, Cardiac, Respiratory, GI/GU, to Orthopedic, Heme amongst others. The dress code is neat, professional navy scrubs, and sensible foot wear. The hospital uses the comprehensive EPIC Documentation System. Done with your shift, explore the city, soaking in its rich history and vibrant community. Minimum requirements include 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2 years in an ER setting. Ideal candidates will have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH certifications and a strong comfort level dealing with ER patients across all ages. Additional certifications such as TNCC and ENPC will be highly favorable. The Medical Center has a no block scheduling policy, so every other weekend and holidays you may be required as needed. There are no restrictions to this role and floating to inpatient areas as required is a part of the job description. • $2,129.00 total gross weekly for 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Stipends:$1,162.00 weekly

Taxable rates:

• Regular hours: $26.87
• Gap hours: $59.14
• Overtime hours: $80.40
