Typically, travelers are not required to float to multiple areas during their contract.Patient Ratios:1 CM to 16-20 patientsRequired Certifications:BLSEducation Required:Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) – South Dakota Board of NursingSkills required:Previous discharge planning and Acute Care Case Management experience, progression of care, experience meeting with families and discussing plans of careSupport on the Unit:Case Management AssistantsLead Case ManagersSocial Work Complex Psychosocial patient consultantsUtilization Review RN sHospitalistCharting System:EPIC (required)Orientation:(facility and unit)1.5 weeksEPIC ClassScheduling:Weekend rotation: 2 weekends per 13-week assignmentTypical staffing support during the weekend shifts:3 RN Case Managers, 1 Social Worker, 1 Lead Case Manager, 1 Case Manager assistant and 1 Utilization Review Nurse.Will they be on call?
