Guest Post Guidelines

I appreciate your interest in Guest Posting for The Gypsy Nurse. Please read over the following guest post guidelines before you submit. The following guidelines are only for ‘Guest’ posts.  If you are interested in a Sponsored Article, please contact me.

Post length
Your post should be as long as you need it to be in order to convey your message. (400-800 words is an average).

I publish posts that vary greatly in length. Anything goes—length isn’t a factor, but quality is. Stick with your own style and voice, and choose a length that sits well with you.

Exclusivity
Unless previously negotiated, we ask that the posts you submit to us are written exclusively for use by The Gypsy Nurse. While you’re more than welcome to write on the same topic elsewhere, the expectation is that posts that appear on The Gypsy Nurse don’t appear in the same form elsewhere.  Google frowns on duplicate content.

Give Credit
Please give appropriate credit to all sources.  All images should be properly attributed and have been credited.

Links
If it’s relevant to the topic you’re writing about, you’re welcome to link back to your blog within the post. Keep in mind that this relevancy is very important.   Under no circumstances will affiliate links be accepted.

Please do not include a call to action to visit your blog or check out a product or service you’re offering within your post.

If I feel your post includes too many links back to your own blog, I may remove them,. A high-quality, helpful post will get people checking out who you are more effectively than will lots of links back to your blog.

Editing
Articles may be edited. Please don’t be offended if I suggest changes, fix grammar, add links etc. However, no major changes will be made without your approval. It’s still your post.

You can submit your guest post HERE. Please note that it takes time for me to review your submission. I attempt to review within 10 Days Please do not send  “reminder” emails  —they won’t help me get to your submission any faster.
