The facility is a large teaching hospital with advanced cardiac care services and a collaborative team environment. You will prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide post-procedure education and care.
You must have an active Ohio RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program. At least one year of recent pre/post cath lab or cardiac nursing experience is required. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is essential. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are necessary.
Recommended skills include critical thinking, effective communication, and proficiency in cardiac monitoring and medication administration.
