From the beginning I had issues with this agency. I agreed to a contract and was then told I had to either work more hours or take a 50% pay cut.... what? I agreed to more hours but requested a bonus. The bonus was a laughable $500. I tried to contact my recruiter and it turns out she had me sign the contract and then QUIT the company... my first week on assignment I did not have a recruiter. The recruiter I randomly got assigned couldn't care less throughout my contract. Every single paycheck I got was incorrect... short on hours or missing stipends. I was working 48 hours a week and getting paid for 24 hours. Every single week I had to call payroll to get it corrected... and the check would be "next week". The one time i requested to be paid immediately and I had to pay a penalty for early pay. At one point during my assignment I was owed 2 weeks worth of corrections... thousands of dollars. At the end of my assignment I had difficulty getting reimbursements paid. Needless to say, AMN is shady and will steal money/withhold money that you earned! WE DESERVE MORE THAN THIS. The disrespect leaves a bad feeling for me. I will never ever work for this company again and I recommend that none of my Travel RN friends do either. I would never want my friends or coworkers to be treated as I was.
