Registered Nurse – First Assistant – Travel – (RNFA – Operating Room)

Pay Rate: $2242.00 – $2381.00
Travel RN-First Assist jobs in Shawnee Mission, KS let you work in a vibrant community with access to Kansas City’s arts, dining, and outdoor activities. You will assist surgeons in the operating room, providing perioperative care and supporting complex procedures while using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), an active RN license, and CNOR certification. At least 2,000 hours of surgical experience and completion of an RN First Assist program meeting AORN standards are necessary. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
Recommended skills include strong surgical technique, critical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
