Required qualifications include an active RN license, at least one year of recent telemetry or pediatric cardiac care experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, and proficiency with telemetry monitoring equipment. Strong communication, critical thinking, and pediatric assessment skills are recommended1.
