As a Surgical Technologist, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited surgical technology program, and certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST). You should have at least 1-2 years of experience in an operating room setting and be proficient with electronic medical records (EMR). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience in a variety of surgical procedures and familiarity with the latest surgical instruments and techniques.
