HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital offers a wide range of medical services, including cardiology, emergency, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, surgical, and wound care. The hospital is known for its state-of-the-art facilities and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities include preparing patients for surgery, assisting during surgical procedures, and providing post-operative care. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Typical duties include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Required qualifications include a valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and experience in an operating room setting. Preferred qualifications include additional certifications in perioperative nursing and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Recommended experience includes previous experience in a surgical or perioperative setting. Familiarity with various surgical procedures and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team will be beneficial.
