To qualify, you need an active Registered Nurse license and completion of an accredited nursing program. At least 1 year of recent pediatric intensive care experience is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification is mandatory. Recommended skills include experience with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), advanced pulmonary support, and proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Strong communication, adaptability, and family-centered care skills are valued.
