Registered Nurse – Oncology – Travel – (Onc RN)

Pay Rate: $2287.00 – $2428.00
Travel MedSurg/Oncology RN jobs in Modesto, CA offer you the chance to provide compassionate care to patients with medical-surgical and oncology needs at the facility. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver individualized nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and documenting in electronic medical records (EMR).
Required qualifications include a current California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire. You must complete a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Recognition exam within 6 months and obtain Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification within 12 months after eligibility. National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) education is also required within 6 months.
Recommended experience includes recent work in medical-surgical or oncology units, strong assessment skills, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
