Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery – Travel – (LD RN)

Pay Rate: $1735.04 – $1912.09

Labor and Delivery Total # of Unit Beds/Suites/Deliveries: 9 Labor Rooms, 2 ORs, 6 Triage Rooms, 3 PACU
Facility will ACCEPT LOCALS for this position. ALL RTO requests must be in the packet at the time of submission. Anything sent after, will not be approved. L&D RN -Ratios 1:2. Epic EMR. Manager will interview and offer. Required Upon Submission: min of 2 years exp required. ACLS and EFM highly preferred. Every third weekend, holiday requirement. BLS, NRP required. Must have active MD/Compact license in packet at time of submission, no temp licenses allowed. Covid vaccine in packet at time of submission, only Medical Declination accepted. Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped.
Advanced Practice on the unit: Private MD, Midwife 24/7, OB hospitalist 24/7, anesthesia 24/7, NICU 24/7. Have OB Educator. All staff has EFM training. # Days of Orientation: 3 shifts Specialty Testing for Unit/Facility: ? U ? F Patient Care Modality: Mother Baby LDR care Dress Code Scrubs/color: provided by hospital dark blue Shoes: closed Jewelry: professional, minimal Hair/Beard: trim, clean, pulled back, cover if needed for OR Nail Polish: no acrylics or gels, neat trimmed naiils Documentation System: Epic and OP Time Epic for OR Medication System: Click or tap here to enter text. N Who manages ventilators: RT Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols: (For example: Drips; Infusions; Phlebotomy; Starting IVs; EKGs; Transports; Weaning; Nebulizer to Inhaler; Starting IVs, performing venipuncture, Performing EKGs; Discontinuing sheaths) 2500+ births / annually….Procedures/ diagnoses could include: MGSO4, PIH, Bleeding, IV insulin, Diabetes, Multiples, Pain management, birth plans, midwives, natural childbirth, water births, epidural 72%, addicted mom care, NAS care, and premie deliveries. NICU attends all C/Sections and any criteria for a compromised baby. RNs should be competent in vaginal exams, as many private MDs. They utilize a “nanny nurse” which is a NICU RN when available to do NN assessments. Deliveries are attended by 2 RNs. Core staff will assume duties of CN, Triage, Nanny Nurse and Scrub. Floating within Mother Baby areas and Pedi with appropriate (not to M/S) Additional Unit Specific Information:

Required Qualifications
Active MD/Compact license in packet at time of submission, no temp licenses allowed
BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Facility will ACCEPT LOCALS for this position (lower bill rate)
RTO at time of submission (ANYTHING SENT AFTER SUBMISSION WILL NOT BE APPROVED)
Proof of covid vax must be in profile at time of submission- MEDICAL declinations accepted ONLY. (Must have signed and authorized documentation from Physician in packet or submission will be dropped.)
