Travel Emergency Room RN jobs in Salem, VA place you in a 506-bed hospital with a Level II Trauma Center. The facility features a 26-bed emergency department and serves as a major referral center for Southwest Virginia.
Salem is a city of 25k, the Roanoke County seat, and an integral part of Virginia’s Blue Ridge region. The city features a charming downtown combining historical elements, a delicious food & drink scene, and rich arts and cultural amenities. Roanoke, about 15 minutes away, is known for the Mill Mountain Star, a landmark offering panoramic views and hiking trails.
You must have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or a compact state, at least 1 year of recent emergency room experience, and current TNCC certification. Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems and trauma care skills are recommended.
