You must have an active RN license and at least 1-2 years of recent operating room experience, preferably in cardiovascular procedures. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is recommended. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications are preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended.
The facility features advanced cardiovascular surgical services and a supportive environment for travel nurses. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly in emergencies are essential.
