Key Responsibilities of an Vascular Ultrasound Technologist:
- Valid certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) issued by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Bachelor’s degree in cardiovascular technology, sonography, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience as a Registered Vascular Technologist is highly desirable
- In-depth knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology
- Proficient in performing vascular ultrasound procedures and interpreting results
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
