Facility Name: St. Bernards Medical Center Total # of Facility Beds: 378 Teaching Facility: No Teaching Hospital Experience Required: No Trauma Level: 3 Prior Travel Experience Required: YES Minimum # Years Clinical Experience: 1 yr experience in Echo. 2-3 years Ultrasound. Vascular experience is also required. Certifications Required: BLS Certifications Preferred: How many professionals do you currently employ: 4 during the day shift, 1 on weekend day shift What is the average daily caseload? 12-15 # Days of Orientation: First day is in the department. Observe first study for an overview. Second and remaining studies, hands on the equipment and probe with preceptor overseeing. Second day on nursing units performing studies with the preceptor answering questions. If the assignment is weekend shifts, a staff member will work the first weekend shift with the traveler.Float Required: NoCertifications: BLS,Ultrasound Certification (Equivalency); Guaranteed Hours:36; Local travels will incur a lower rate.
