Key Responsibilities

As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders

• Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively across multiple modalities (e.g., abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts)

• Prepare patients for procedures and explain exam processes clearly and compassionately

• Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to radiologists or referring physicians

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation

• Follow strict protocols for infection control, safety, and quality assurance

• Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in at least one specialty (e.g., OB/GYN, Abdomen, RVT) required

• California license (if applicable) or eligibility to practice in CA

• BLS certification required

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or outpatient setting preferred

• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and digital PACS systems

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
