Key Responsibilities of the Travel Speech Language Pathologist:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders

• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams

• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, techniques, and progress

• Document evaluations, goals, and outcomes accurately in the EMR

• Participate in case conferences and provide recommendations for ongoing care

• Ensure adherence to ethical, clinical, and regulatory standards

Requirements of the Travel Speech Language Pathologist:

• Active Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent SLP experience in an acute or rehab setting

• Strong interpersonal, assessment, and communication skills
