Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Seven Healthcare is seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Dunkirk, New York offering a weekly total of $2,700. This day shift (3x12s) opportunity is ideal for respiratory therapists with acute care experience who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to patients with acute or chronic cardiopulmonary conditions

• Manage ventilators and oxygen therapy, including high-flow and BiPAP/CPAP systems

• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and pulmonary function testing

• Respond to emergency situations, including rapid response and code blue events

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to develop and adjust respiratory care plans

• Maintain equipment, ensure infection control standards, and document all patient interactions accurately

Qualifications

• Active RRT license (New York or eligible for licensure)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based experience preferred

• Proficient in ventilator management, ABGs, and critical care respiratory support

• Strong communication, technical, and time management skills

• Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts in an acute care environment
