Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings

Administer medications and manage patient care in accordance with treatment plans

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Educate patients and their families about conditions and post-discharge care

Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active Kansas or Compact RN license

Current BLS certification

Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a telemetry or progressive care setting
