Key Responsibilities of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring

• Interpret cardiac rhythms and identify abnormal patterns or arrhythmias

• Administer medications, including titrated drips, per physician orders

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care

• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in EMR systems

• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, medications, and recovery plans

• Adhere to hospital safety policies, infection control standards, and clinical protocols

Requirements of the Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse:

• Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry or Stepdown RN experience in an acute care setting

• Strong cardiac monitoring, critical thinking, and communication skills
