Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Monitor patients transitioning from ICU-level care

Administer medications, manage IVs, and monitor cardiac rhythms

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

Perform thorough patient assessments and adjust care plans as needed

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Respond to emergencies and changes in patient status
Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active RN license (New York or eligible for licensure)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Minimum 2 years’ recent Stepdown, Progressive Care, or Telemetry experience
