This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $2,500 based on a 3x12s Night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Stepdown RN:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to stepdown/intermediate care patients

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, titrate medications, and manage complex clinical needs

• Perform frequent assessments and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare teams

• Manage IV infusions, advanced monitoring equipment, and telemetry

• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR

Requirements of the Travel Stepdown RN:

• Active Illinois RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS and ACLS required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown/PCU or ICU experience

• Strong critical thinking and patient-assessment skills
