Travel Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury

• Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to support rehabilitation goals

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor patient responses

• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation exercises, self-care, and discharge planning

• Assess progress toward mobility and functional independence goals

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure adherence to care plans

• Promote a safe, encouraging, and patient-focused environment

Requirements of the Travel Rehabilitation Registered Nurse:

• Active RN license (Illinois or compact state)

• BLS certification required.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Rehabilitation experience in an acute or post-acute setting

• Strong assessment, communication, and patient motivation skills

• Compassionate and team-oriented approach to patient care
