Travel Registered Nurse – Psychiatric

Seven Healthcare is pleased to present an exciting travel nursing opportunity for a Travel ;Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing in Methuen, MA. This assignment offers a weekly blended rate of $2,300, based on four 8-hour night shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute or chronic mental health conditions

• Assess patients’ psychiatric and physical health status and implement individualized care plans

• Administer prescribed medications and monitor effects or side effects

• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment, following de-escalation and crisis intervention protocols

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to support holistic treatment

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and treatment adherence

• Accurately document patient progress and interventions in accordance with facility standards

Requirements of the Travel Nurse:

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current BLS certification (CPI or PMAB preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience
