Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Key Responsibilities of the Travel PCU RN:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and complex interventions

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data

• Administer medications, IV therapies, and oxygen as prescribed

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Educate patients and families on treatments, procedures, and discharge care

• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with hospital policy

• Respond promptly to any changes in patient condition and escalate appropriately

Requirements of the Travel PCU RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)

• BLS, ACLS and NIH certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU or Step-Down experience

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills
