Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

Provide intermediate-level care for patients requiring continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring

Assess, plan, and implement individualized care for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions

Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced monitoring treatments as ordered

Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes

Maintain accurate, thorough documentation per hospital and professional standards

Educate and support patients and families throughout the recovery process
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:

Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license (or compact license)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Minimum of 2 years’ recent PCU or Step-Down experience
