Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

This assignment offers a weekly blended rate of $3,400, based on four ;12-hour rotating day, evening, and night shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Progressive Care Unit for individuals with complex and evolving conditions

• Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer medications, and manage drips and interventions as ordered

• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition

• Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with hospital policies

• Offer education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery

Requirements of the Travel Nurse:

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (CCRN or PCCN preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in PCU or Step-Down nursing
