Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Travel Registered Nurse for a reputable hospital in Barberton, Ohio. This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $2,350 based on a 3x12s Night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the Travel PCU RN:
- Provide care to patients with moderate to high acuity needs in a step-down setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and clinical status closely
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including titratable drips
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements of the Travel PCU RN:
- Active Ohio RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS and ACLS required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or step-down experience
- Strong critical thinking and cardiac monitoring skills
