Travel Registered Nurse – Pre Post Op (RN)

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Travel Registered Nurse for a 13-week Pre/Post Op assignment in Fredericksburg, Texas. Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Provide high-quality care for patients in the pre-operative and post-anesthesia phases

• Conduct pre-op assessments, start IVs, administer medications, and prepare patients for surgery

• Monitor patients in the recovery phase, manage pain, and assess for complications

• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-surgical care and discharge instructions

• Work closely with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and PACU staff

• Maintain accurate records and follow hospital protocols and safety standards

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active RN license (Texas or compact state)

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent Pre/Post Op, PACU, or surgical services experience

• Strong patient assessment, IV, and medication administration skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
