Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns.
- Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being and address any concerns or complications.
- Assist new mothers with breastfeeding, newborn care, and education on postpartum recovery.
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform necessary medical procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, including OB/GYNs, pediatricians, and lactation consultants, to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Qualifications of the Travel Nursse

Active RN license (Texas or compact state)

BLS and NRP certificatios required

Minimum 1 year of recent Postpartum experience
