Travel Registered Nurse – Post Partum

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Post Partum RN:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns

• Perform ongoing assessments, including vitals, pain management, and postpartum recovery monitoring

• Support breastfeeding, bonding, and newborn care education

• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, lactation consultants, and support staff

• Respond to emergencies promptly and escalate concerns as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR

Requirements of the Travel Post Partum RN:

• Active Massachusetts RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• BLS and NRP certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Post Partum experience

• Strong patient education, clinical assessment, and communication skills
