Travel Registered Nurse – Post Partum

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Postpartum Registered Nurse:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum patients and their newborns

• Assess and monitor mothers’ physical and emotional recovery following delivery

• Support breastfeeding, maternal education, and newborn care instruction

• Administer medications and perform necessary clinical procedures

• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and lactation consultants to ensure optimal outcomes

• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient education accurately in EMR systems

• Maintain a safe, compassionate, and family-centered care environment

Requirements of the Travel Postpartum Registered Nurse:

• Active RN license (Massachusetts or compact state)

• BLS and NRP certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Postpartum experience including EPIC. ;

• Strong communication, teaching, and patient support skills

• Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
