Key Responsibilities of the Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions

• Administer medications and treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort

• Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition

• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams

Requirements of the Travel Pediatric Registered Nurse:

• Active RN license (Illinois or compact state)

• BLS and PALS certifications required

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Pediatric experience in an acute care hospital

• Strong pediatric assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
