Travel Registered Nurse – Pediatric Operating Room (RN)

Seven Healthcare is excited to offer a rewarding travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Operating Room in Chapel Hill, NC. This contract includes a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,650, based on three 12-hour day shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

• Provide direct nursing care for patients in the pre-op, intra-op, and post-anesthesia phases.

• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment while adhering to infection control and safety protocols.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe and efficient procedures.

• Assess patient conditions and document vital signs, medications, and surgical details accurately.

• Administer medications and monitor anesthesia effects under established guidelines.

• Advocate for patient safety and well-being throughout the surgical experience.

• Assist with surgical instrument and equipment setup, counts, and post-op clean-up.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and maintain professional competencies.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse:

• Active North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state eligibility

• Current BLS and PALS certifications

• Must have Pediatric experience ;

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operating room or surgical nursing setting
