Seven Healthcare is excited to offer a rewarding nursing opportunity for a Travel registered nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract includes a competitive weekly blended rate of $1,950, based on three 12-hour day shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
-
Monitor and assess patient conditions including vital signs, neurological status, and respiratory function
-
Administer medications, including life-support drugs, following strict protocols
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other specialists

Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation as per facility standards
-
Educate families on patient care, treatment plans, and post-discharge instructions
-
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status
Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active North Carolina or Compact RN license
-
Current BLS and PALS certifications

Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a PICU or similar critical care pediatric setting
