Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Assist in pediatric cardiovascular surgeries as scrub or circulating nurse
-
Maintain a sterile and safe operating environment for pediatric heart procedures

Collaborate with pediatric cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams

Monitor and document patient vitals, responses, and procedural details
-
Prepare specialized equipment and instruments for pediatric cardiac cases
-
Provide emotional support and communication to families and loved ones
-
Comply with all safety, regulatory, and hospital policies

Travel locally as needed to fulfill assignment requirements
Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active RN license in Colorado (or compact license)

Minimum 2 years of recent Pediatric CVOR experience

BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS and CNOR preferred)

Strong pediatric surgical knowledge, attention to detail, and communication skills
