Travel Registered Nurse – Pediatric Cardiac Care ICU

This assignment offers a weekly blended rate of $3,500, based on four 12-hour rotating day, evening, and night shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

• Deliver expert, high-quality care to critically ill pediatric cardiac patients recovering from surgeries and cardiac interventions

• Monitor and manage complex hemodynamic, respiratory, and pharmacologic therapies, including ventilators and vasoactive infusions

• Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Administer medications, infusions, and treatments in alignment with physician orders and ICU protocols

• Maintain precise and timely documentation in compliance with hospital and cardiac care standards

• Support and educate families navigating the complexities of pediatric cardiac care

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current BLS and PALS certifications (ACLS and CCRN preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU or Pediatric Critical Care
