Travel Registered Nurse – PCU Float (RN)

Seven Healthcare is pleased to present a travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float in Fort Myers, FL. This assignment offers a weekly pay of $2,400 for three 12-hour shifts (36 hours), working day shifts.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel PCU Float Nurse:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients requiring intermediate or step-down level care.

;

• Float between PCU and ED Hold units as needed based on staffing and patient acuity.

• Monitor and assess patients with complex medical conditions and respond promptly to changes in condition.

• Administer medications, treatments, and perform routine patient care procedures according to established protocols.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all hospital policies and safety standards.

Requirements of the Travel PCU Float Nurse:

• Valid Florida/Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Progressive Care Unit

• ED experience is NOT required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
