Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia

Monitor vital signs and assess patients’ recovery status post-surgery

Administer medications and manage pain relief as prescribed

Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient care

Maintain accurate clinical documentation according to hospital policies

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) or Compact State License

Current BLS certification

Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a PACU or post-anesthesia setting
