Travel Registered Nurse – Outpatient Oncology (RN)

Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse for an Outpatient Oncology position in Chapel Hill, NC. This travel assignment offers a weekly pay of $2,300 for 40 hours per week, scheduled across 4x10s on day shifts.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting.

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive medications per provider orders and safety protocols.

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses.

• Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate individualized care plans.

• Educate patients and families on treatment regimens, side-effect management, and follow-up care.

• Support patients emotionally and provide compassionate care throughout their oncology journey.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

• Active RN license in the state of North Carolina (Compact state accepted)

• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• ONS chemotherapy certification
