Seven Healthcare is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Akron, Ohio. This travel nursing contract is based on four 10-hour day shifts per week and is offering a blended rate of $2,600/week.

Key Responsibilities of the OR Nurse

• Prepare operating rooms and assist in surgical procedures

• Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure patient safety throughout surgery

• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition

• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to deliver optimal care

• Accurately document perioperative care and post-operative reports

• Support patients and families with education and updates on procedures and recovery

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or valid compact state license

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in the operating room setting

• Familiarity with a range of surgical procedures and instruments
