Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical equipment is sterilized and available
-
Assist surgeons during procedures and maintain a sterile field throughout

Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery

Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols

Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia staff, and recovery teams

Accurately document procedures and patient care activities
Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active Georgia or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
-
Minimum of 2 years’ recent Operating Room experience
