Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Operating Room RN:

• Provide skilled, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients

• Circulate or scrub for a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile field integrity

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery

• Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures

• Adhere to hospital and AORN standards for infection control and perioperative safety

Requirements of the Travel Operating Room RN:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Alaska or compact state)

• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience in a hospital setting

• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
