This assignment offers a competitive weekly rate of $3,700 based on a 4x12s Day shift schedule. Key Responsibilities of the RNFA:

• Assist surgeons during operative procedures, including exposure, hemostasis, and suturing
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field and ensure surgical instruments are available and functioning
• Perform preoperative and postoperative patient assessments
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Document intraoperative care accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements of the RNFA:

• Active New York RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• RNFA certification required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience, with First Assist experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and sterile techniques
